This task is given by dilip sir . I disscus about the bhagat Singh's essay " why I am an atheist ? " And his argument.
Q. Rewriting the last monologues of Doctor faustus with insights from bhagat Singh's arguments reflect on the concluding monologue of marlowe's incorporating insights from Bhagat Singh's essay " why I am an atheist". Consider how Singh's perspective on freedom , oppression, and revolutionary thoughts can offer new dimensions to faustus' final lament.
Bhagat Singh (1907-31) was a revolutionary in the Indian independence struggle. Post his graduation, he worked as a writer and editor for Punjabi and Urdu newspapers, advocating Marxist theories. Having popularized the phrase ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ or ‘Long live the revolution!’, he was later given death penalty for the murder of an English officer.
In this essay of Bhagat Singh " why I am an atheist?" He say that " I totally reject the existence of an omnipresent , all powerful, all knowing God . Here I wish to emphasise that I am not an atheist for reason that I am arrogant or proud or vain ; nor am I a demi - god , nor a prophet ; no am I God myself. At least one thing is true that I have not evolved this thought because of vanity or pride. In order to answer this question I relate the truth. My friends say that after Delhi bombing and lahor conspiracy case , I rocketed to fame and that this fact has turned my head . Let us discuss why this allegation is incorrect. I did not give up my belief in god after these incidents. I was an atheist even when I was an unknown figure .
Bhagat Singh's perspectives on freedom, operation and revolutionary thoughts:
They can kill me, but they cannot kill my Ideas ,
They can crush my body, but they will not be able to crush my spirit.
- bhagat singh
